REPORT REPAIR |
|
If you are experiencing difficulty in obtaining credit or are paying
higher interest rates due to negative items on your credit report a credit repair service can help you get back on track by
disputing those negative items on your behalf and having many of them
removed. Disputing items on your credit report is your explicit right
under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA). Credit report repair
is as legal as pleading “not guilty” in a court of law. It is entirely
within your rights, and the freedom to do so is protected by law. |

Some
companies charge per dispute per bureau, which means you get
charged three times for each and every dispute. We think that's
pure nonsense. With Lexington you get unlimited disputes at
no additional charge. Period. |

Some
companies charge per deletion per bureau, which means you
get charged three times for each and every deletion. That's
just plain exploitative. Our staff produces deletions around
the clock at no additional cost. |

Unlike
others we offer toll-free phone support as well as free email
support at no cost to you. It's our way of ensuring top-notch
customer service. |

Our
service is backed by a warranty which entitles you to some
or all of your money back if enough disputed items aren't
deleted. You won't pay for ineffective service. If we can't

Advantages of using a law firm
|
|
While there are many companies who brand themselves as credit repair
organizations, most of them lack the legal clout and experience
necessary to adequately represent your dispute efforts. Some of the
specific advantages of using Lexington Law Firm are: |
- They enforce your rights under the
various federal laws.
- They can do everything a
non-attorney can do, and everything they can’t.
- They keep abreast of current
consumer laws as well as changes to, interpretation thereof, and
applicability of those laws.
- They govern ourselves according to
the rules and principles of professional conduct.
- They practice the methodologies
and structure like any law-practicing firm.
- Your case will be reviewed and an
attorney will impose legal opinions when and if necessary.
- Your confidentiality is protected
by the attorney-client privilege

How much does this service
cost?
|
|
In accordance with
federal regulation, Lexington charges retroactively for the service it
performs. This means you will be billed each month for work performed
the previous month.
Your initial payment of $79.00 is due within the first
fifteen days and covers the most expensive portion of your retainer:
your case setup. They complete this step prior to drafting your first
payment. Each month thereafter you will receive an itemized invoice
for work performed the previous month.
The amount of work will vary from time to time, and you
will find that they often perform more work than the $39.00 fee covers
(but never less work than that.) Of course, you will not be charged
for the additional work. Your monthly retainer fee is fixed at $39.00
and will never exceed that amount.
Note that they offer a warranty of service under which
they will refund some or all of your retainer fees if enough disputed
items aren’t deleted to meet their high standards of success.

What is a credit report?
|
Whenever you apply for any type of credit or financing, a credit
report is pulled from at least one of the three major credit bureaus.
While there are hundreds of smaller credit bureaus around the country,
virtually every credit bureau is affiliated with either Experian,
Trans Union, or Equifax.
These credit bureaus collect and maintain information on the vast
majority of Americans, but they are not affiliated with the government
in any way. The credit bureaus are for-profit corporations and they
sell your personal information for money.
|
|
How long do negative items stay listed?
|
|
The Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) requires that most negative
credit items be deleted from your credit bureau file in no more than
seven years, except for bankruptcy, which can be reported for up to
ten years. These are the time limits for reporting negative credit.
The creditor or the credit bureau can choose to have the negative
credit information deleted whenever they please. Inquiries may remain
on the credit report for up to two years. |
